Từ đồng nghĩa trong tiếng Anh (Synonym/ closet meaning): Là những từ có nghĩa giống hoặc gần giống nhau.

Ví dụ:

Clever, Smart và Intelligent: Đều có nghĩa là thông minh- nhưng sắc thái khác nhau

Intelligent: Là từ mang đúng nghĩa thông minh nhất. Intelligent đồng nghĩa với brainy, dùng để chỉ người có trí tuệ, tư duy nhanh nhạy và có suy nghĩ logic hoặc để chỉ những sự vật, sự việc xuất sắc, là kết quả của quá trình suy nghĩ.

Smart: Là một tính từ có rất nhiều nghĩa, trong đó cũng có ý nghĩa gần giống với intelligent. Tuy nhiên, intelligent chỉ khả năng phân tích, giải quyết vấn đề một cách khoa học và hiệu quả, còn smart lại chỉ sự nắm bắt nhanh nhạy tình hình hoặc diễn biến đang xảy ra.

Clever: lại chỉ sự lanh lợi hoặc khôn ngoan.

Từ trái nghĩa (Antonym/ opposite) : Là những từ có ý nghĩa hoàn toàn trái ngược nhau

Bước 2: Sau khi đọc xong các bạn cần xác định trong câu này, từ được gạch chân mang nét nghĩa gì. Phần này rất quan trọng bởi từ đồng nghĩa cần tìm là từ có thể thay thế Từ gạch chân trong ngữ cảnh câu đó, chứ không thuần túy là đồng nghĩa với từ đó!

Đến đây bạn sẽ bắt gặp 2 trường hợp:

TH1: Thứ nhất, từ gạch chân quen thuộc và bạn có thể đoán nghĩa, nhưng đáp án lại có nhiều hơn 2 từ mà bạn không hề biết.

TH2: Thứ hai, từ gạch chân lạ bạn chưa gặp bao giờ; tuy nhiên đáp án lại có những từ thông dụng bạn đã biết.

Bạn không cần quan tâm là có bao nhiêu từ là, việc chúng ta cần làm là xác định nét nghĩa cần tìm.

Bước 3: Tiếp đến ta xét các từ đã biết nghĩa trước

Loại trừ các đáp án đồng nghĩa nếu đề yêu cầu trái nghĩa (và ngược lại)

BÀN TAY NGƯỜI NGHỆ SĨ

Ngay từ nhỏ, Trương Bạch đã rất yêu thích thiên nhiên. Lúc nhàn rỗi, cậu nặn những con giống bằng đất sét trông y như thật.

Lớn lên, Trương Bạch xin đi làm ở một cửa hàng đồ ngọc. Anh say mê làm việc hết mình, không bao giờ chịu dừng khi thấy những chỗ cần gia công tinh tế mà mình chưa làm được. Sự kiên nhẫn của Trương Bạch khiến người dạy nghề cũng phải kinh ngạc.

Một hôm có người mang một khối ngọc thạch đến và nhờ anh tạc cho một pho tượng Quan Âm. Trương Bạch tự nhủ sẽ gắng công tạo nên một tác phẩm tuyệt trần, mỹ mãn.

Pho tượng làm xong, quả là một tác phẩm tuyệt tác. Từ dung mạo đến dáng vẻ của Quan Âm đều toát lên sự ung dung và cực kì mỹ lệ. Điều vô cùng lí thú là pho tượng sống động đến lạ lùng, giống như một người sống vậy. Nếu đi một vòng xung quanh pho tượng, đôi mắt Quan Âm như biết nhìn theo. Hiển nhiên đây là điều không thể nào tưởng tượng nổi.

GV kiểm tra đọc thành tiếng lần lượt từng HS. Đọc 1 đoạn văn một trong các bài Tập đọc trên, và cho HS trả lời câu hỏi theo nội dung đoạn đọc.

Đọc đúng tiếng, đúng từ, ngắt nghỉ đúng ở các dấu câu, cụm từ, tốc độ đạt yêu cầu: 3đ.

Trả lời đúng ý câu hỏi do GV nêu: 1 điểm. Tùy theo lỗi của HS mà có thể trừ mỗi lỗi từ 0,1 đến 0,25đ …

2. Đọc hiểu: 6 điểm.

II. Kiểm tra viết: 10 điểm.

1. Chính tả: 4 điểm.

Bài viết không mắc lỗi chính tả, chữ viết rõ ràng, trình bày đúng đoạn văn: 3điểm.

Mỗi lỗi chính tả trong bài viết ( sai, lẫn phụ âm đầu hoặc vần, dấu thanh, không viết hoa đúng quy định,…) trừ 0,25 điểm. (Nếu chữ viết không rõ ràng, sai về độ cao, khoảng cách, kiểu chữ, trình bày bẩn,… bị trừ không quá 0,5 điểm toàn bài.)

2. Tập làm văn: 6 điểm.

Viết được theo yêu cầu của đề bài và đầy đủ bài văn gồm 3 phần ( mở bài, thân bài, kết bài sử dụng câu từ phù hợp, hay…): 6 điểm.

Đúng ngữ pháp, từ sử dụng đúng, không mắc lỗi chính tả: 1 điểm.

Chữ viết rõ ràng, trình bày đẹp: 1 điểm.

CHA SẼ LUÔN Ở BÊN CON

Năm 1989, tại Ác-mê-ni-a, một trận động đất lớn xảy ra, làm chết hơn 30 000 người trong 4 phút.

Một người cha chạy vội đến trường học của con trai. Giờ đây, ngôi trường chỉ còn là một đống gạch vụn. Ông bàng hoàng, lặng đi, không nói được nên lời. Rồi ông nhớ lại lời hứa với con: “Dù có chuyện gì xảy ra, cha cũng sẽ luôn ở bên con”. Nhìn ngôi trường đổ nát thì không thể hi vọng gì, nhưng ông không quên lời hứa đó.

Ông cố nhớ lại vị trí lớp học mà ông vẫn đưa con đến hằng ngày, ông chạy đến đó và ra sức đào bới. Người ta kéo ông ra và an ủi:

– Muộn quá rồi! Bác không làm được gì nữa đâu!

Cảnh sát cũng khuyên ông nên về nhà vì đây là khu vực rất nguy hiểm. Nhưng với ai, ông cũng chỉ có một câu hỏi: “Anh có giúp tôi không?”, sau đó lại tiếp tục đào bới. 12 giờ . . . Rồi 24 giờ . .. Khi người ta lật một mảng tường lớn lên, ông bỗng nghe tiếng con trai. Ông mừng quá gọi to tên cậu bé. Có tiếng đáp lại: “Cha ơi con ở đây !” Ông ra sức đào. Mọi người cũng ào đến. Bức tường đổ đã tạo ra một khoảng trống nhỏ nên bọn trẻ còn sống. Ông vừa đào vừa gọi:

– Ở đó thế nào hả con?

– Chúng con có 14 đứa, chúng con đói và khát lắm – cậu bé nói lớn.

Khi đã nhìn thấy lũ trẻ, ông bảo:

– Các con chui ra đi!

Để các bạn ra trước, cậu bé ôm lấy cổ cha mình nói:

– Cha ơi! Con đã bảo các bạn là nếu còn sống, nhất định cha sẽ cứu con và các bạn mà.

Bài viết: Vời vợi Ba Vì

Từ Tam Đảo nhìn về phía tây, vẻ đẹp của Ba Vì biến ảo lạ lùng từng mùa trong năm, từng giờ trong ngày. Thời tiết thanh tịnh, trời trong trẻo, ngồi phóng tầm mắt qua thung lũng xanh biếc, Ba Vì hiện lên như hòn ngọc bích. Về chiều, sương mù tỏa trắng, Ba Vì nổi bồng bềnh như vị thần bất tử ngự trên sóng. Những đám mây nhuộm màu biến hóa muôn hình, nghìn dạng tựa như nhà ảo thuật có phép tạo ra một chân trời rực rỡ.

B. Tập làm văn: (8 điểm)

Đề: Em hãy kể một câu chuyện nói về một người có ý chí, nghị lực mà em được biết hoặc em đã được nghe, được đọc.

I. Kiểm tra đọc thành tiếng: (3 điểm)

Mỗi học sinh đọc đúng, rõ ràng và diễn cảm một đoạn văn hoặc khổ thơ với tốc độ khoảng 75 tiếng/phút trong các bài tập đọc do HS bốc thăm.(2 điểm)

Trả lời 1 – 2 câu hỏi về nội dung đoạn đã đọc theo yêu cầu của giáo viên. (1 điểm)

* Nếu viết sai 1 lỗi trừ 0.25 điểm, sai 2-3 lỗi: trừ 0.5 điểm, sai 4-5 lỗi: trừ 0.75 điểm

* Nếu viết sai trên 5 lỗi: 0 điểm

2. Tập làm văn: (8 điểm) (khoảng 35 phút)

* Phần nội dung: (6 điểm) kể được câu chuyện đúng yêu cầu, đầy đủ 3 phần
